We had re scheduled this shoot, following the sun in hopes of some dreamy sunset light. Well, that didn't happen, naturally thanks to the Willamette valley rain. Making the best of our time and surroundings, we were able to get Madi's graduation shoot done without getting completely soaked.
The shoot was located on Madi's grandparents acreage in West Linn, OR. Purchasing the property and building their custom modern dream home many years ago was soon going to come to and end. This is a place where Madi grew up and it held a special place in her heart, knowing that, we had to shoot her OSU Grad photos on their property before it was sold off to the county.
I spent the afternoon doing her make up and helping her pick out her 3 outfits.. and discussing her long time boyfriend and career goals. We had a blast, despite the weather, and I knew yet again that my client had turned into a dear friend. As I was about to post her sneak speak shot the next day, you will never guess what pops up on my Facebook newsfeed!! MADI IS ENGAGED.
