Jackie and Dustin's Engagement // Portland, OR

Jackie and I go way back... ha back to the sorority days. She's one of those friends, that no matter how long you go without seeing each other, the second you connect again, its like nothing ever changed. We share the same oddball weirdness and nothing could rip us apart. I love her beyond words. And I know Dustin does too!

These two had been dating for well over 6 to 7 years when they first met at Oregon State and it was about time. Christmas 2013 rolled around, Dustin's favorite holiday, and no ring..? Valentines rolled around and no flowers, no plans, no nothing..so obviously no ring. At least thats what Jac thought. The day went on, Dustin was grumpy from work and it had been that way for months now. A last minute exhausting dinner was planned followed up by a walk to Starbucks in Pioneer Square...STARBUCKS? Really, on Valentines day? But then Dustin stopped her, while holding her hand in the middle of the square, and began apologizing. 'This was all a facade, work has been just fine...' and the rest was history. Jackie knew it was then and there, it was their moment! He got down on one knee and asked her to be his wife!

Congrats to you both, the wait was well worth it all.
